2025 BEST SAFETY AWARD WINNER
(Road Use)
The Kabuto F-17 GP MIPS was recognised as the 2025 Best Safety (Road Use) award winner by CRASH — the Consumer Rating and Assessment of Safety Helmets.
CRASH is an independent helmet assessment program that evaluates motorcycle helmets beyond basic compliance standards, giving riders additional information on safety performance across tested models. The F-17 GP MIPS was assessed for road use and received the award based on its results in the 2025 testing program.
The F-17 GP MIPS features MIPS technology, designed to help manage rotational forces that may occur during certain angled impacts. The helmet also incorporates Kabuto’s aerodynamic shell design, ventilation system, emergency removal system, and rider-focused interior construction.
The F-17 platform is also trusted by professional and champion riders across road racing, including Michele Pirro, Joan Mir, Aleix Espargaró, Anthony West, Remy Gardner and many more. This connection to top-level racing reflects the helmet’s development focus on performance, stability, comfort and protection in demanding riding conditions.
Selected F-17 replica designs are also available, allowing riders to wear graphics inspired by some of the professional riders who trust Kabuto on track.
For more information on how CRASH conducts its helmet testing, riders can read the testing explanation provided by MotoCAP.
This recognition reflects Kabuto’s continued focus on helmet safety, comfort and technical development. With an independent assessment supporting its safety performance, the F-17 GP MIPS stands as an important model within Kabuto’s full-face road helmet range.
